Stuttering research

After basically giving up on speech therapy I decided that it was time to attempt to find my own cure for stammering/stuttering. It had to be worth a try.

So where should I look? I started my stuttering research at the local library, I read many books about stuttering and its various therapies.

I also read books about confidence and how to increase self-esteem. The internet had not been born at this stage however is now a valuable resource for people looking for the latest stuttering treatments.

I decided to focus my studies on people which I classed as very good talkers. These included politicians, newsreaders and other people involved in the media.

It was a painstakingly slow process but progress it was. Around a year later I was able to talk in the way that I had always wanted, fluently.

As a career I now help other people who stutter to attain their goal of fluent speech.
