Stuttering treatment

This was the content of a recent telephone call I have received:

I have been searching on the internet for different forms of stuttering treatments and came across your website. I am interested in what you offer however I am unsure as to whether I need to attend your one-to-one speech course, I am thinking that the seventy minute DVD may be sufficient.

I only have a slight stutter you see, in fact the majority of my family or friends are not even aware that I have a speech impediment. Despite this the stutter does really get me down. I am forever having to control my speech and have various ways of hiding it, this is however quite tiring and requires a great deal on concentration.

My life would improve considerably if I were to be able to eradicate the stutter. Please confirm which form of stuttering therapy you would recommend for somebody in my position.

I personally believe that the course is the most beneficial form of therapy that I offer, however the DVD and audio book are very popular and the feedback that I have received from these products has been very positive.

People who purchase the DVD are able to attend a five-day course in the future for the lower fee of £395 which takes into consideration the £55 that has already been paid for the DVD and course notes. This is perhaps the reason why people tend to choose to purchase the DVD prior to attending a course.
