Telephone stuttering treatment

I have had a number of requests in recent months from people who would like to receive therapy with regards to stuttering via the telephone. They are normally people who are unable to attend a one-to-one speech course and who are instead wanting to gain access to the treatment that I offer via the telephone and e-mail.

During the phone discussions I fully describe the stuttering therapy techniques (speech rules) as well as the forms of practice that I successfully used to overcome my own stutter.

I also coach the person to enable them to implement the techniques in the correct way.

There is also time spent practicing the techniques as well as for the person to ask any questions which may arise.
