Thinking positive
I have been watching the third round of the Open Championship today. Fifty three year old Greg Norman has been rolling back the years and is the over night leader by two shots.
I have learnt a lot from reading about the top sportsmen and women. Confidence and a positive attitude is common trait in these people, the champions of their respective sport.
I soon realised that if I were to be successful in achieving fluency that I would need to start thinking in a far more positive manner. This is why I decided to stop attending traditional speech therapy as the speech therapists were attempting to make me accept the stutter, a very negative approach.
Good luck Greg, I hope you manage to lift that claret jug tomorrow.
