Will your stuttering therapy course work for me?

Will your speech course work for me? If I had a dollar for everytime that I have been asked that question then I would now be a very rich man. People often ask this type of question and this is the answer that I normally give them:

To answer the question there are a few of questions that people need to ask themselves? Why would the course not work for me?  Am I willing to work hard to overcome the stutter? Will I make the effort to practice the techniques on a daily basis? If you have answered yes to all of these questions then the course will work for you. The course is unable to provide a magic pill type of stutter cure however for people who recognise that they have to work very hard, that it will take a couple of months, and a great deal of personal dedication, then fluency can be achieved.

I help people in any way that I can and often spend four or five nights of the week practicing on the telephone with my clients. That is the key, sustained practice of the stuttering therapy techniques over a period of time.
